Janitor tricks
The only real trick I have learned as a janitor is a nifty way to clean shoe-scuffmarks off of linoleum tile floors: get yourself a tennis ball and rub it on the scuff. it comes off almost instantly. It's magical really. we have a tennis ball on a stick so that we don't hurt our backs or knees.

Didn't have a tennis ball to try this out, but AFTA also works great on scuff marks, oil stains on laundry, lipstick, etc. Available in hardware stores.
