Here is a lovely picture of our new home. It was not a problem to find a new and better living situation. Our new landlords are very friendly and they live at least two houses away, in their own (and completely separate) house. Ahhh...so much better.
I also live about 5 miles closer to work, so I may even be able to ride my bike to work.
But, what I really wanted to show you about this picture can be seen by looking just a wee bit closer at the photo....
Do you see what I see? Can you possible understand how happy I am? Yes, like the first crocus that peers it's head out of the frozen ground to signify the beginning of spring....it is SNOW!!!!! It's what I've been waiting for since April. Beautiful, glorious, cold, snow.
I went away to Boise for an ultimate tournament this past weekend, and when I came back, it was raining. Then, on Monday the clouds cleared and there was some snow sprinkled on tops of the surrounding peaks. Oh, and the temperature dropped to be around 68 degrees and it was beautiful. My happiness level has increased ten-fold.
